connecting vcr to television

Hi can any one help I have been given a panasonic vcr nv-730 to play my old video tapes on, however i cant connect it to telly. this vcr dosnt have a scart connection like ther vcrs ive had only jack plug like sockets on the back saying In and Out. I have tried connecting it with a cable with the plugs for these but cant get a picture the tape is turning and all buttons seem to be working. what am i doing wrong??? any help would be very welcome.

This is a BNC connector... and it's highly unlikely you have them on a VCR

More likely you have phono connectors, which look like this

If you have the above red, white and yellow connectors then you just need something like this
