what is ec2, on replaying a recording the screen goes blank the sound continues and ec2 is on the right hand corner of the screen.it takes a while before the picture comes back.

On the other hand, of course, it could be error code 2, which might mean something if only you could be @rsed to include details of the kit you are using.

thank you both very much for your reply, the ec2 occurs on the telivision when replaying a recording from the dvd recorder. both are panasonic.

the recorder is DMR-EX773EB
the tv is.VIERA. now i am wondering if the kitten has loosend the connnections, i have redone them again. will see what happens when she comes again for a visit.thank you .
