No Sound - Samsung Galaxy Ace

This morning, all the sounds on my phone went off. No ringtone or notification tone. I've checked all the settings and it's Not on silent mode and the volume is on the maximum.

Any ideas? I've only had it 3 months.

funny same thing happened to my daughter today too she took it back to the fone shop they cudnt see wat was wrong with it so exchanged ot for a new one she had only had it 3 weeks same model

Turn it off, take out the battery, wait 5 minutes and then re-fit battery & turn on.

If it's still silent & you are sure it's not 'muted' then take it back to the shop & moan (a lot). Don't accept 'we will fix it' - at 3 months it is not fit for purpose & should be replaced.

Sooo..... My daughter took my phone into the 02 shop this afternoon and it still wasn't making a sound.

"My Mum's phone's sound has gone off" The girl said, "oh right, just unlock it then". As she unlocked it she heard the audible click and lo and behold, everything was fine.
