I have a Sony Vaio Desktop PC which is incorporated into a 1080p HD Monitor. When I booted it up yesterday there was an issue with the display in that there appeared to be what can only be described as a tiny bullet-hole effect in the screen. It has resulted in 1/3 of the screen being white, with the odd coloured line as well. The other 2/3 of the screen is fine. I don't think this is a PC issue more the monitor.

Has anyone else had a similiar issue with eithe all-in-one PCs or HD TVs/Monitors? Any idea how much it may cost to repair, it indeed it can be?

Thanks in advance.

Anyone "hit" the screen or knocked it with anything?. Sounds like the screen has been badly damaged so will need to be replaced.

One of the failures of all in one computers is if one part breaks you have to send the whole thing away to get it repaired.

And repairing them can be costly and maybe not worth it.

Thanks for your reply. My good lady swears she hasn't knocked it with anything and I certainly haven't! I've tried contacting Sony Support but to say they're non-responsive is an understatement!
