As well as receiving replies to my own questions,I always enjoy looking at other posers and their answers. If I see a question and its answer that is of particular interest to me is there any way to save it for future reference? Thanks.

You could copy it and paste it into a word document.
isn't there a "subscribe to this question" option on your screen? In the panel with the question
oh, sorry, I misunderstood. Yes, do what Infomaniac suggests.
Yes- just click on 'subscribe to thread'. You can see all your subscribed threads at any time using the relevant tab when you look on your profile
The 'subscribe' option still seems okay but of course it may be an unwieldy solution as it will give you the full thread and not just the post you wanted.
Other than subscribing or copy and pasting, you have a number of options:

You could bookmark it in your browser: Ctrl-D works on most browsers.

Or on the left of the screen below the latest posts you can see a share button. That's mainly designed for sharing the page you like with your friends, but you can also use it to share with just yourself, e.g. create reminders on Facebook or in your email.

If you get really advanced you can use the same button to set up shared bookmarks on StumbleUpon, Digg or Delicious, which are services specifically designed to allow that.

Thanks for the info info but I was hoping to be able to save it on the PC and click somewhere ie My profile and find it, or any others saved there.
Ellipsis I am looking at your post but I can't see a share button anywhere.
Thanks everyone for your replies
In your 'browser' select File, then 'save page as'
I just copy and paste and paste for something that REALLY interests me.
Not clever enough to do it any other way!

Thanks SA but I don't see how I can save it into my AB "account" (ie my profile) I would like to access it while browsing the AB.
you can click the button on the top right of your keyboard that says print screen - this should take a screengrab ... i think ... not sure how it works though, sorry
codswallop as said above if you click 'subscribe' in red print it will be saved in your profile, try it with this one - equally if you weary of it you can unsubscribe.
"I always enjoy looking at other POSERS and their answers"

I had to laugh.

HI mamyalynne I tried your idea,it went into the "subscribed box" but all of the other answers did as well even when I highlighted your reply Well spotted Plautus, that was certainly an unintended "double entendre" Thanks again !
The trouble with "subscribe" (IMO) is that after a period of time, the older threads fall off my list if they haven't been added to in the meantime.
Oh sorry cods, no you cannot be selective using the subscribe route.

Boxy, they do off the screen but stay in your profile - I have a few 4 years and older in there.
I never thought of that, mamya - thanks for the tip :-)

Thanks amyalynne it looks as though that's the best it's going to get.
If I wanted to keep a record of some posts and didn't want to have to look back through the whole thread I'd either copy and paste the relevant post into a word document or do a screen print into a word document in an AB folder.
I email it to myself and then file it appropriately.
