I could use some help. My laptop is giving me grief. Pages keep freezing and Recover Webpage keeps popping up. I'm on the verge of tossing this thing at the wall! Any advice? Or should I simply let it bounce off the walls?

Been using the touchpad - it has been temperamental ever since I bought this laptop. Have never used a mouse with this machine only with the desktop one.
According to a little box I clicked on I'm using Internet Explorer Version 9
Does that give you any help?

Been having a few thoughts. I've also been having trouble accessing the music I have stored in the memory of this thing - it won't play much of anything, and I used to be able to swap music between it and my mp3 players. And it refuses to talk with the printer

As Methyl suggests, plugging in a USB optical mouse might be worth a try. I'm typing this on a laptop with one of these plugged into it. (I can highly recommend them. Nearly all Asda stores stock them):

I was going to pursue the repair thing though. I bought this two years ago but I took out a sort of guarantee thing so that shouldn't be too much of a problem - I had a new power lead from them a month or two ago.
