My mother uses, yahoo as her homepage for the internet. She keeps getting pops ups and screen ribbons for chat pages etc for (amongst other things) half naked asian woman - something of course she dosn't require. Is there any way of turning these off, it is starting to upset her a little bit. It is a private browser site, so she knows that no one else has been on there to look at something that they shouldn't, so not sure why they keep coming up.

Any help gratefully recieved.

No, I haven't tried this ( as i am the one tasked with sorting it!) so i will tonight. Many thanks for your help
If popups are occurring at random, rather than when visiting specific sites, some malware must have found its way onto her computer.
