I was putting some CD's on my uncles computer but it was really really slow. It's only 4 months.

It's an Advent Monza S200, windows 7 home premium.

Memory - 8GB DDR3 RAM

Hard Drive - 759 GB

(^^^^none of that means anything to me)

While it was slowly importing the songs this appeared

'High CPU Usage by: itunes'

Then after that 'Norton 360 performing task: full system scan in progress'

Anyone got an idea why it is so slow?

"Anyone got an idea why it is so slow?"

Pretty obvious really: "Norton 360 performing task: full system scan in progress"

I thought it could be Norton. I'll uninstall it. Thanks.
You only need to do fun scans at intervals of maybe once a week, I think. Does Norton allow you to choose the time to do it- e.g. Sundays at 4am so it doesn't inconvenience you
I believe the S200 has a power save feature that is accessed via the Fn + F2 key combination. Maybe worth checking as this will slow the processor speed to save power if active. Also, make sure that the main power adapter is plugged in as this could also reduce CPU speed depending on the power setting plan.
