Skype Messenger

I have just updated from Windows messenger to SKYPE as windows messenger is closing soon. Everything is working perfect but no inbox notification if I have had e mails . I have to go into Hotmail separate now but never had to do this before as it was accessed from messenger. Has anyone else got the same problem. Thanks .

Skype doesn't handle emails.

There are many others asking the same question of Microsoft and so far I don't think Microsoft have come up with a positive solution!
