should have ended computer.
.. should have told us what printer, what operating system, as well.
I have the same problem occasionally, 1944,
I have a Kodak 5.1 Hero and don't know if it's just that make of printer or my router, but when I turn on my printer I do sometimes find I have lost the wireless connection and have to input my password again.
As to your problem, I had to go through the original set-up process a number of times before I eventually registered it for the first time but am unable to remember what I was doing wrong. Sorry.

Should have parkdale,it's an Epson XP-405,which as I have said is wireless.Possibly the reason I didn't is that when it first happened,someone I know(no longer available)did it from the computer,he didn't touch the printer.The computer is a 3 "yearish"old HP.Hope this helps.Thanks
This happened recently to mine -I'm using an Epson SX235W and I had to uninstall and then re-install
