Question For Buenchico

Or any other tech savvy whizkid.
My daughter has an Acer Aspire 1 which she has had a couple of years with no problems. For some reason that I can't figure out it has stopped streaming video.
Any video that is already on the pc will play normally but when she logs onto video sites (youtube etc) although she can see the thumbnails when she clicks on them she is presented with a black frame (No audio).
I would really be grateful for some assistance with this because I'm having to share the PC with her.

Videos already on the computer are played via a media player (such as Windows Media Player, VLC, GOM, or whatever else your daughter uses). Streamed videos are played within a browser using the Flash Player Plug-in, which has an annoying habit of ceasing to work.
Go to Add & Remove Programs (or Programs & Features, depending upon the version of Windows), from the Control Panel. Locate and uninstall 'Adobe Flash Player Plug-in'. Restart the computer. Go here to reinstall Flash:
http:// get.ado be.com/ flashpl ayer/
(NB: Remove the tick that installs McAfee Security Scan Plus before clicking on 'Download'!)
That should solve the problem.
