will it take a dongle ? mine's connected with a LAN cable from my router
mines a humax though
If it's supposed to take a wired ethernet connection only, you can cheat with something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vonets-VAP11G-WIFI-Bridge/dp/B0050AI804

You set it up via your PC to connect to your wireless network then plug it in to your freeview box (or any other device that needs a wired connection) and away you go. Your freeview box thinks it wired even though it's wireless.

Thanks all, @deggers316 yes it will take a dongle - there is input for a 'wireless LAN' AND/or and ethernet.
This is the one I use with my humax - don't know if it will work with the Panny :
