Whats the simpe method of making an entry when the references have two or more locations? With one reference no problem. I've heard its best to use a word processor so that the first reference is not obliterated when adding the second. Is that right?

I have the answerbank open in one tab and open the links in others, then just copy and paste the links one at a time, moving the cursor down each time by hitting enter.

I have read this twice, pdq1, and I'm wondering if you have missed part of the question out.
Where are you trying to make an entry?
What sort of reference are you referring to?
I agree....Its got me confuzzled.

Here is an example with 2 references. Normally I copy and paste.

Well, looks like you did it OK on the last post, pdq - is that what you meant, "making an entry" on this site?

Boxtops that last entry was a copy of someone else's posting and I just copied and pasted it from their entry in one go.

woofgangs got the right idea.

Maybe I should have said 'links' rather than 'references'.
