Overriding Ipad Predictive Text.

How can I 'teach' my iPad what my sign off signature is? It is embarrassing what it is changing my sign off to.......

Since getting this lovely little device I have been shamed so many times by not checking the predictive text!!!

When it pops up with the correction, tap on the "x" on the corner of the little box with the correction in and it will "learn" what you typed. If you get a wavy red line under it, then tap and hold and you will get a list of options, choose learn spelling.

Thanks Woof, I 'm catching some 'typos' but not all. I'm consistently missing my signature so need to pay more attention and at least I now know how to 'train' the predictive text. Thanks.

you are welcome, I sometimes don"t notice the corrections when i am in a hurry and boy do I curse afterwards.

why don't you set up a shortcut as whatever your signature is and it will enter it for you, go to settings, general, keyboard

I'll take a look at that fitzer.

I don't want a signature block just an initial followed immediately by an x, as it is I'm getting and embarrassing sign off.

Will investigate you suggestion.
