I use calibre to convert my ebooks, don't know if that would be any use to you.

Been a while since I've done this but it is possible, - is it not as simple as right click, copying and pasting onto new word doc? Sorry if I'm way out here but I remember I deffo used to do it in work.

If you've already downloaded the PDF, go to Edit/Select All & copy. Paste to Word.
