Not sure. Stuff like this is often bundled with other programmes, with an assumed "opt-in" to download and install it, which is a little naughty.

Some here may give you better instructions on how to remove, but i have included a link to a user forum that goes into some detail on how to remove from the various popular browsers out there....

I used Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool to get rid of Snap.do
