Buenchico you help many on technology issues, and I am sure we are all indebted to you for doing so, so can I now ask you a non tech question?

There was once a regular ABer who was also very knowledgeable in technology issues, but we don't seem to have heard from him lately, can you remember who it was, and what has happened to him?

Wasn't it chuck?
-- answer removed --
I think I remember reading that Squd received an Email from chuck saying he had other priorities for the time being and was spending more time with his family. Got to respect that.
Chuck has been busy lately but he still pops his head in from time to time. His profile shows he was on this site last Tuesday:

He only lives about 30 miles from me, so I'll have to turn up in his 'local' one day (the White Hart) to remind him that we need him here ;-)
Chris while your here can you help me aswell please?
Sorry to butt in aog.

Chris I'v searched the net and can not find if anyone has ever won their PPI claim against Pendragon who own Reg Vardy. Do you know of any?

Yes it was indeed Chuck thank you for all your answers.

Chris I now have TheSage on my computer but I am finding how to use it most difficult, nothing seems to happen when I point to a word and press Ctrl+Shift+A
AOG:
Check that TheSage is running in the background (waiting for you to make a call on it). It should show as a white 'S', on a blue background, in the System Tray at the bottom right of your screen.

If it's not there, open TheSage (from Start > Programs) and click on the 'Options' button at the top of the screen. (It's the one with three lines on it). In the left-hand pane (under 'General') click on 'Opening and closing'. Put a tick alongside 'Start TheSage at Windows startup. Click 'Apply& ''OK'. Restart your computer. From then on, TheSage will always be available when you want it.

If (or when) TheSage is actually running (i.e. the white 'S' on a blue background appears in the System Tray), when you place your cursor over a word try double-clicking (to highlight it) before pressing Ctrl+Shift+A. Then, when you've finished reading the definitions, do NOT click the 'close' ('X') button! If you do, TheSage will no longer be available for future look-ups during that session (unless you reopen it). Either simply click on the document or web page you were reading (to bring it to the front) or use the 'Minimise' button in TheSage.

It might seem a bit complicated at first but it soon becomes extremely easy!

Arwyn:
I don't know of anyone offhand but I'll take a look.

Thank you once again Chris, thanks to your explicit instructions I have now got it up and running, but apart from the Ctrl+Shift+A. operation, I dare not push any other buttons in case I bu**er things up.

But thanks again.
