A day or 2 ago I downloaded Mailwasher but I also got Mixi DJ search. I tried to get rid of it but there doesn't appear to be uninstall. I want to go back to IE as before. I went into Tools, internet options, home page, and chose default but that was MSN. If I go to All Programmes and click on IE I still get MSN. Will I have to download IE all over again? Thanks.

Go to START/ PROGRAMS/ click on Internet Explorer.
When IE opens, go to TOOLS, Internet Options and click on CURRENT and you should get IE all the time.
Sorry, just seen that you still get MSN that way.
The next couple of lines are a direct copy & paste from something I found on the web. It's not great English but it should work!
Open Internet Explorer->go to Tools->and then Manage Addons->Disable Mixi.DJ toolbar related add ons or disable all unverified add ons.

If you've got the wrong home page, simply go to whatever page you'd like to use, go into IE's Options and select 'Use current'
Try Tools/ Internet Options / Programs. Half way down the page you can reset the default browser.
Is that any use??
Restore your system to a day or 2 back. See if that fixes it. If you reinstall Mailwasher then make sure you haven't left ticked anything else it wants to install as well.
Actually, rereading, I'm unsure I'm clear about your issue. Surely the Microsoft Network isn't a browser ? Are you saying that your home page is no longer, oh, say Google for instance ?

Sorry it was a bad day yesterday and I didn't make myself clear. I have sorted the homepage and IE out, just need to get rid of MixiDJ search now. Will try Buenchico's suggestion. Thanks for your replies.
