G Shock Watches

Does the tide prediction actually work on the g shock g lide or rescue series of watches ? Or is it just gimmick and waste of dial space.

Well you can buy a clock that tells when the tides will be so why not a watch? Down here (Hampshire) we have a double tide though so none of the tide clocks or watches work.
