Problem With Wifi

we have virgin broadband,which we are happy with,it works fine on desktop upstairs where modem is,but when we put netbook on downstairs sometimes it comes on ,other times not,or goes off when we change pages,saying cannot connect.do we need any other gadgets.?

Had the same problem and purcased one of these, does a very good job, no drop outs at all now.

Mine has been doing that, and I am with Virgin. Was going to ring them. Do you have one of their new super hubs? We don't. Was wondering if its because there are so many gadgets in our use using the wifi?

to knowabit,sorry about the delay just got in.we have a super hub,only running a desktop and netbook,but struggles to cope,think we probably got to up our broadband,will call tomorrow.thanks to others for advice.
