I am, once again, having problems with java on my iMac when playing bridge on an online website. It seems to freeze and when boxes come up for me to enter details on before playing with a new partner they will not clear and I freeze.

I notice when going into my java details that there is something called a java cache viewer. On this I seem to have loads of thumbnails of the website each time I have visited it, totalling about 4400. Should I clear these, if so, how do I do it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You obviously don't need those files, so it can't do any harm to delete them. Instructions here:
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml

You might also try seeing what happens if you de-select 'Keep temporary files on my computer'.
