Need List Of Alt-Codes That All Work

I was on FB saw link to list of alt-codes. Some of the codes worked, but many just didnt workand i didnt get the symbol the alt code was meant to be. Ive Googled to find more alt code links but none of them work
I have Chrome, I dont know if that would make a difference

maybe this might be of some use http://copypastecharacter.com/all-characters

just click on the char you want and it's copied into the clipboard so you just need to paste it where you want (there is a drop down list at the top to only show certain categories of chars)

That is absolutely fantastic, at first I couldn't get it to work because I was clicking with the R/H button on my mouse instead of the L/H one.
