The Dyson, bladeless, hot and cool fan works by what that nice Victoria Wood, in her voice-over, calls 'inducement'. Quite. But how does it work, described in scientific or layman's terms ? I'm assuming inducement of air isn't a scientific term; if it is, please use laymen's language.

dyson are all about looks, mind you their washing machine was a disaster
