I have a spare HTC smartphone that has been unlocked to "sim free" I wanted to get it going again to give to somebody that would be a Very Light user and was recommended to get an "Avivo" card, apparently you pay ONLY a one off fee of £15.99 and if you do not use in excess of your allowed mins. etc it is renewed for free every month, now this sounds too good to be true to me and I was wondering if anybody has used/can recommend this sim card?

Thanks for the correction ChuckFickens.
Ah I see: you have to put up with ads but then get "free" texts/calls/etc.
Worth considering.
But again, worth checking the web to see what's out there. You may find a tariff that you find good value and doesn't push ads at you. Deals come & go all the time.
