I run on Windows 7 and I don't know what I did but the type size on my gmail page and the whole page has shrunk. I've done everything I can think of including closing dow and restarting and its still so small I can hardly read it. Any suggestions anyone please ?

Open your browser.

Then hold down the Ctrl key and press the + (plus) key to make the text bigger and the - (minus) key to make the text smaller.

If you are using a mouse, it is possible to alter the page/text by holding down 'Ctrl' and operating the 'Scroll wheel'.
