Ipod Help

Have recently purchased songs from itunes and now cannot get them onto my Ipod.

It keeps saying that I need the latest software version. I have this but still nothing happens.

What is going on???

Ipod is 4th Gen 10gb.

Sounds like your 4th Gen iPod has been shipped/sold with the 3rd Gen software. I believe a number of less reputable retailers (without naming names) are still throwing out 3rd Gen software with 4th Gen products. Apple are aware of the problem, and if this should be the case, please e-mail them to advise them (a) of your problem, and (b) where you purchased your 10Gb IPod from. Rogues and scoundrels!
