Mobility Aid.
4 Answers
A battery aided mobility scooter (buggy) requires checking the pressure of its tyres as part of its regular maintenance. Does anyone know of an electrically operated machine for that purpose, that one can buy and keep in the garage? A disabled person can hardly be expected to use a foot pump and it would be a bit of a cheek going regularly to a garage for no oher purpose. The required pressure is 28 PSI (2.0 bar). Glad of any advice please.

There are many cheap air compressors around which can be bought for as little as £5. They normally are fitted with a car cigarette lighter plug to be used by motorists. I use one for my wifes scooter connected to a 12 volt battery charger. It has a clear guage so that you can see when you have reached the required pressure.
