Ipad Ad Popup Help Please

I keep getting a popup ad for some Clash of the Tiitans game on my ipad when using Safari. it comes us a blue dialogue box entitled "http://ad.z5x.net" that you have to select one of the following options to clear:

Ok – takes you to the App Store to download
Clear - cancels it and you can carry on

I've checked my settings and the popup blocked is set to on. Anyone know how I can stop this and its getting very annoying

You could try clearing cookies and history. Then going into advanced and clearing website data. You'll have to put all your passwords in again but it may stop the pop up.

I use Chrome on the iPad as I got fed up with Safari.

Do you ever plug your iPad into your computer, or do you use it stand alone?

A simple back up and restore will probably solve it, but it can take a little while to do.

Gromit - I do, but not often. I will restore if I absolutely have to. Would prefer to find a way not.
