Hello all.

I have been given an iPhone 3GS to use. I presently use a old style Nokia 3310. Both are on Orange.

Please, how can I change over and still keep my original telephone number?

Thanks

I assume you're after taking your normal sized sim card out of your old phone and using it in the new phone, which takes a smaller sized sim card ??
You'll need a sim cutter - do a search on Ebay - they're only a few quid :)

Actually the SIM cards are the same size but I have noticed the actual contact bit (the gold bit) is bigger.
Can you not get on to Orange and get them to port your number?
You can only port numbers between different networks, not within the same network :(
well I just ported my number from an O2 phone to an O2 phone for the 4th time!! twice from PAYG to PAYG, the next time from PAYG to pay monthly and this last time back from pay monthly to PAYG.
They call it transferring, not porting, they don't give you a pac code, they just move the number.
move the sim card into the other!!!!
