Wifi Woes

We've lost the wifi capability of our printer from the laptop. This seems to have happened since we changed from Virgin+ to Virgin tivo! Printer still works using the desktop tho so we know it still works! Tried to work through the installation process again but the instructions don't match the options on the laptop! Any ideas people ? ?
