Action Script - bring symbol to front

I'm looking for some action script to work with symbols in Flash...I need to be able to bring a symbol to the front (i.e. on top of all other objects) when it is clicked or when is passes through a certain key frame.

Any ideas? thanks.

By default, the Z-order of symbols is the same as the layers in your timeline.  To change the order dynamically I'd recommend converting the symbol to a movie, then use the swapdepth method to control the Z-order (look up the syntax in the help).
