Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Usb Connectivity Issues

Cant get the above device to be recognised over USB by Win 7 64 bit on PC and laptop.
D/loaded Kies and it connected once on both devices but has since refused to.
windows just throws up a USB device not recognised failed to connect message in the taskbar
All Op/sys and Android uptodate, USB debugging enabled on Galaxy.

Have scoured the web but not found anything , anybody any ideas ?

I sympathize with you. I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and use the Kies software to connect to my pc. I find Kies just about the worst phone/pc software I've ever used.

Mine also continuously fails to find the phone on usb connection. It will eventually find it after going through the troubleshooter in the Kies program but it's more miss than hit. I have no idea on the answer.

I connect my galaxy note to kies via cable but will not connect via kies air to laptop
