possible windows problem

Whilst using windows to view and save pictures on my Epson RX600 recently - file- save page as - to desktop nothing is saved although I have regularly used before
send to which creates shortcut works as does send to email Registry mechanic was suggested as a solution but this has had no effect - can anyone help please. If I use my photo plus programme 'saving' works Using fully updated windows XP

if the file > save as settings etc then yes it would probably be a registry setting that would have been corrupted, i pressume the epson you are refering to is a camera and the file > save page as is in an explorer window on the camera?
