I keep reinstalling it and it's fine but the minute I close the computer, it won't open up the next time. The icon is still there. I tried Frostwire for wind 8 and it completely messed up the computer. Any clues as to how I can get to my music library? Thank you.

Yes I also have a notebook with xp on it, but have to admit it is very slow compared to this one.

I called sony and they insisted that it was good, but they are bringing out an update next month which will probably confuse me more.

Anyway have managed to download and put onto mp3 some more music, so pelased, but nothing is easy with won 8, is it?

I like XP too. I have windows 7, used it for about a month and revert to XP.

Google free music download for windows 8 and Frostwire will pop up. It caused all sorts of nonsense on here, ads and great gaps, I didn't realise it was Frostwire causing it at first and changed from Mozilla firefox back to IE, but don't like IE so deleted Frostwire and went back to Mozilla, now all is stable again.

Yes i know about xp finishing, as I asked sony if they thought I could install xp on my computer and get rid of win 8 and they advised against it.
