Updated Ipad

Wish I hadn't as am now having problems and I was used to the old settings and logos. In Safari I am trying to Bookmark various web pages as I did before, but they are going into Favorites as a logo instead of the long list of bookmarks. The logo,of the little curved arrow has changed it seems as well. Found something which told me to switch off iCloud, not sure if done properly but want to Bookmark into list. Help !!!

To bookmark a site the icon is upper left on the screen a square with a arrow pointing upwards you bookmark in the same way as before.

It doesn't go into bookmarks, it goes as a grey square logo into,favorites and I don't want it there and I can't delete it from favorites! Sycamore can you also help me with my question about keeping my photos,if I delete iCloud? I took the photos before updating and saying yes to iCloud. Thanks

Ok everyone bookmarks sorted but still need help with keeping photos please. Also how,do,I delete items in Favorites? Sorry about all the questions

Tap on favourites. Tap edit at the bottom of the box in Blue. Ring icons come up next to each site to be deleted.

By the way I am using the favorites logo blue square top right ....

When you tap the book looking icon top right hand side of screen the first item in the list is favourites, then history etc. tap favourites. A list of favourites will appear in a white box. At the very bottom it will say edit in blue. Tap edit. A red circle with a white dash will appear to the left of each favourite. Tap the red dot and you will have deleted that item.
