Annoying Pop-Ups
3 Answers
I have an annoying situation that only happens on Answerbank, and only if I log onto Answerbank from Firefox, if I use Google Chrome , it doesn't happen.
Every couple of minutes a list of related searches pops up on the left hand side of the screen, next to the list of Topics.
If I click onto another topic, it goes off, then returns a few seconds later.
Do you think I would be advised to remove Firefox from my computer, then re-install it, as I prefer Firefox as my browser.

However if you ever do find that you've got problems with Firefox, you don't need to follow the uninstall+reinstall route. Simply go to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions and note down what you want to keep. (That's because you'll need to reinstall them later). Then go to Help > Troubleshooting Information and click on 'Reset Firefox'. Reinstall your extensions and everything should be OK.
