I've just got a new PC with Windows 8. I've installed Microsoft 2007 (I'm too tight to buy anything newer).

I'm having a bit of bother with Outlook. When I try to delete an email, it just scores through it in the list in my inbox but won't shift it to the Deleted Items file. Tried dragging it there, but it still won't go!

Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

Do you particularly NEED Outlook? Are there features of Outlook you take advantage of?

If not then you can use any email client to view your mail, or even do your email via a web browser, most email can be viewed in a web browser.

Thanks for answering VHG.

I suppose I don't really NEED Outlook, I've just been using it for years now and am used to it.

Windows 8 does have a mail program, so I maybe I should really try to get my head round that instead.

Can't have everything we want in life!
The same thing happens on my outlook, but if I delete the same e mail from my tablet or phone then the mail dissapears from outlook as well

Glad it's not just me then, fourteen85!

I've just bitten the bullet and dumped Outlook. I'll just use my browser.

Thanks for the answers!
