The other option may be to use the aerial output from your freeview box if it has an RF modulator (most don't) but your manual will say. Then the TV can be tuned into the freeview box in the say way as you would with a video recorder.
Ah - you're right, red and white do the audio only, if there's a video input too it will be yellow. You need all 3 - hence the term 3 RCA connector.
Sounds like you are a bit stuffed I'm afraid to say. You could buy a SCART to RF (aerial) connvertor but this is probably going to cost you as much or more than the freeview box.
Any chance of returning the freeview box for one with an RF modulator built-in ?
