Hallelujah....want Your Google Black Bar Back !?

I hate the new Google app launcher, more clicks to get what i want.
Why couldnt they give me the choice of the black bar or the app launcher ?
Its a two minute job for a newbie coder

oh yeah, they dont like you having a choice, its their way or nothing

I'm using it from the link above in FF 24 and its fine

I found a couple of others but prefer this one, hopefully there will be a customisable version soon so that you only need to show those items you want in the bar

funnily enough, mine came back unannounced a few days ago, but only for 24 hours.

I've still got mine on one computer, but not on the other one.

The black bar hasn't been there for all that long.
Did you object when they brought it in?
I remember I wasn't too impressed at the the time.

No i didnt object
It made a few things i use all the time, and it would seem a lot of others, very convenient to access

When i code sites i always ask what clients want, i dont tell them what they must have.

When I compose cues etc I do what i'm asked not what I want.

so why cant these peoploe do what the customer wants, they only back down in the face of massive oppositio and they think it will impact their operation

Facebook privacy issues and other issues
Microsoft , the Start button in win 8 a partial climbdown
Apple, smaller devices, they finally got the message, intel chips, Bootstrap etc etc, theyre even giving Mavericks away free !
and on it goes
