Speaking The Words For A Text Message, Via Smart Phone.

Does anyone know how to send text messages by speaking out the words instead of typing them?

I can talk my searches on goggle by default, I would have thought that I would be able to do the same for text messages.

You'd need an App for that.

Have you got an iPhone/Smartphone AOG? Most have it as standard now.
When typing text, look for a microphone icon on the keyboard, straightforward from there.

It might depend on the specific phone you've got, though I expect there's an app out.

b.take the cursor to Subject
c.tap the microphone icon below the keyboard
d.Speak & tap mike icon to close
e.text will print
f.move icon onto email body & chat away.

If you have an Android-based phone, hold down the microphone icon in the bottom left, next to the keyboard icon, and it will activate.

Re reading my post, it appears that I am being sarcastic. I am not. I was fiddling around with my tablet to see if I could speak replies into it and I found this writing pad looking thing which allows you to write with your finger tip and it converts the scribble into readable text. I think it's really clever.

I am afraid not but I thank everyone for their suggestions.

Although I can find a microphone symbol on the Google search window, I cannot find one by the key board.

If anyone can be of further help it would be most appreciated, I own a Sony Xpedia phone.
