How To Correct Language On Kindle Fire

I have just acquired a kindle fire HD but accidentally set language brazilian and can't understand how to correct to english cany anyone help please

Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap More.
Tap Language & Keyboard.
Tap Device Language, and then tap your preferred language.

Swipe screen does not bring down more and is in foreign language which I cannot translate so i have not made this work sorry

You said Brazilian so I translated what should be the language and that was Portuguese. I'd suggest a hard reset for the Amazon Kindle Fire HD but I don't know what LANGUAGE?

The more option is at the far right of swipe down....tap that then language and keyboard..select English..
