Wireless Experimenter And Workshops Manchester

In Manchester during the 1930s there was a wireless experimenter and workshop and repairs facility. He also made aerial tuning coils and the like. Any ideas anyone. When I was a schoolboy he gave me a tuning coil which was one of his gifts to a boy interested in radio. I have completely forgotten his name. Nay ideas anyone.
