Sky Tv

I have sky in 3 rooms, you have to be in the living room to change channels.
My problems started when I pulled the main TV out and some cables came out.
After much messing about (over 4 hours) I have got sky back in the living room but not in the other 2 rooms. I realise I must have put the cables back wrong, but I've tried every combination known to man. Some combo's even make me lose my freeview picture. Can anyone help? Gawd I wish Mic was here.

Can only sympathise. Mine hasn't worked properly, since we took it all apart to put new carpet in. So frustrating!

On the back of the box are 2 RF sockets (ie. aerial out sockets)

I'm assuming that you have the other TVs connected to these

How is your main TV connected - is it via the scart cable or hdmi?

Tuvok there is a scart cable from sky to main TV. There is also 2 cables from the dish connected to the sky box and a link box. Does that help?

The 2 inputs from the dish are what lets you record one and watch another programme.

I would expect the link box connects to one of the aerial out sockets - and then cables come from it.

I'm assuming that what you have is a Sky Eye

Tukok nothing like. I have moved cables around again and lost the signals in the other 2 rooms. Guess I will have to get sky man in. Thanks for trying.

A long long time ago when we had Sky we ran a picture to a upstairs bedroom via a coax cable. We could only change the channel from the main box.
If I remember correctly this is how the connections were made. Sky cable into Sky box, scart from Sky box to main TV and coax from the RF out socket on the Sky box to the other TV. We then picked the picture up on the upstairs TV on a spare analogue channel.
Don't know if this will be any help to you but it may point you in the right direction.
