Attachments To E-Mails.
9 Answers
My Husband is having trouble recently adding attachments to e-mails. They scan through but keep trying to down load all the time. The little blue circle just goes round and round . Never used to happen but his latest printer and scanner is fairly new. Plus Yahoo has changed its format recently .Any suggestions welcomed.

More than a single AVP causes conflicts and, as attachments are examined for viruses, prior to dispatch, a 'yes /no' situation develops. I have heard of the same e/mail having been sent a hundred or more times to a recipient.
What E/mail Programme, Browser, Comp/lappy, Operating System is being used.?

Hi patsyann......Just as a point of interest.....Yahoo has over the years produced the sort of problem which you have indicated and sometimes it has been a Browser compatibility issue. I don't know what Browser your 'Old-man' is using, but he could try something else to see if it makes any difference.
You can have as many Browsers as you like. I have four...Internet Explorer: Google Chrome: Safari: and my favourite....Firefox.(despite in reviews it coming second to Google chrome)
Have a click of the following and see what you think about Browsers.:-

I have come to the conclusion that Yahoo Mail is a pain in the posterior.

A change could be the answer but, if Yahoo is your primary E/mail server, it would be necessary for your advising all your contacts of a new address.
However, it is possible to retain the Yahoo address and have all E/mails being deposited, direct into your computer. It might be the answer...I honestly Do Not know at this stage but it couldn't make matters worse than what they are. It all depends upon what Operating System you have (Windows XP, Vista. W7..or whatever...Hopefully Not Windows 8.)
