T-Mobile Offer Too Good To Be True?
15 Answers
Hi all, I am at present on BT broadband with unlimited downloads for £31 odd a month but have been offered a deal with T-Mobile who are my mobile phone provider for £14.785 line rental & £5 unlimited broadband. They are also offering me £100 towards buying out my contract with BT which is about 2 months in into 12 month contract.
Thing is I have BT sport with their contract & the guy who offered me the contract says today said I will still have BT sport with the T-Mobile deal.
If he's right it's a bargain but I feel he might just be trying to get a deal & fear if I were to change I would lose BT sport.
Any help appreciated, thanks

So I am not sure I would believe the guy from T Mobile.

However it does seem BT have done a deal with EE (T Mobile are part of EE) to try to get back in the mobile business.
But I am not sure it includes free BT Sport (some sales people will say anything to get a sale)

You would lose BT sport. I would email T-Mobile and complain that you have been given false information in the hope of enticing you to enter a contract with them
I would also tell trading standards. This sort of service is not good enough.
If you have a twitter account think about tweeting about it with a#TMobile tag

>>>>Why is your bt broadband so expensive?
Looking at the BT website the £10 a month broadband gives you 16Mbit download speed and is limited to 10Gb of data per month.
A higher price give you up to 76Mbit download speed AND unlimited data download.
Most broadband suppliers offer a cheaper "basic" package but then offer better options for more money.

I bet if you phoned BT and asked for the MAC code as you are moving to TMobile they will offer you a discount, especially if you've never threatened to leave before.
In any event you'd be mad to leave now - it will cost you good money to quit the contract. (I know TalkTalk are offering to contribute £100).
Still worthwhile making the threat though.

hc - If the viewer is a football fan, then they will watch it wherever it is available. Many football games (featuring our favourite teams) are not available on UK television channels. The followers go where they can guarantee to watch a game - ie Internet streaming.
Of course this is not confined to football. Many other sports events do not appear in our home UK TV schedules so where can one go? Again Internet streaming.
