Yes MM. If I watch telly using my telly as the receiver I can't see the HD channels. But if I watch using the box as the receiver I do.

We have a Freeview HD telly and a Freeview recorder box thingy. We can get the HD channels through the recorder but not via the telly only.

Yes but you must connect using a HDMI cable. Do not pay a fortune for the HDMI cable either.
yes if your box came with no cable this is what you want DO NOT pay more than a fiver for this type of cable ive seen them at£90 ! and no different in carrying the signal
