Yahoo Mail..time To Ditch It !?

I've been with them since they started, and over the years its gradually got worse and worse.
Time to call it a day methinks, this evening its not even working due to tech issues.

The lates incarnation is total piff, why cant they do what people want rather than what they think they want.
If it aint broke then dont frikkin touch it !

Yahoo, Gmail, Outlook all morphing into the same ugly sluggish unusable dogpile

On all my equipment and browsers theyre all the same truly afwul now

the more these companies update and change the worse things get...will they ever learn...doubt it

My Yahoo Mail has been no trouble...not even this evening.

I use Btmail, it's not bad, I do have an o2 e-mail account which can time out when I'm in the middle of a longish e-mail which drives me mad when I lose all the e-mail. o2 have ditched new users and closed e-mail accounts I just hope they don't do that with me as all my addresses are on there They have recently crossed the divide to join Sky. I haven't tried gmail yet.

I have my own .com and co.uk domains that i have email facilites with some that are included and some that are paid for email packages.

but i still need these throwaway accounts...think i will throw them away !

I opened an account a short time ago and now it has vanished. Apparently it has been "compromised". I have filled in the form. Nothing. Can't sign in. Rubbish.

Yahoo mail has always been a pain in the rear (as has Hotmail/Outlook). Ditch it and change to a decent email service:

got a feeling I have GMX...got so many account over the years , I've lost count of them all and with whom.....shoulda made a list !

I hate the new look gui theyre all adopting, and I still cant work out what google have done with my youtube accounts, whats linked whats not whats synced whats not.......Aaaaaargggghhhh

I use BTinternet for email - doesn't give me any problems at all. I use gmail for throwaways.

I agree baz.

I changed over to Chrome about two years ago and I still can't access my BT Yahoo mail account properly. The difficulty is I have had the same email address since 1993 ( ! ) and I am loath to change, with all the faffing about that would arise.

I now have to have Internet Explorer on as well as Chrome. Its an irritation but I will persevere for a while longer. I have contacted both Yahoo and Chrome but both blame each other.
