How long is a piece of string? There is a comparison site for broadband but I can't remember the name. So much depends on extras you might like too.

Which? has only two Recommended Providers,,Plusnet and Utility Warehouse.

Keep in mind that whatever Broadband Provider you use and a telephone landline is involved, all signals will be via a BT Telephone Exchanges. Hence the reason for some providers having a tendency to blame BT if things go wrong.

Look at BT. They have a sale on for Infinity at the moment, which you will able to get if BT have provided Fibre-to-the-Cabinet in your area. Don't forget, almost all telephone lines are provided by BT, so why go with other providers. Don't even think of try TalkTalk...they have one of the worst reputations for service in the UK !

Spot-on@mikey4444. I am always afraid to recommend BT because there are folk who immediately suggest that I must be working for the firm.

The problem with Talk Talk is it is all talk and no action when needed.

Agree with last two posts. I have been with AOL for years without any problems but over the last year or so have had problems and AOL/talk talk and BT just blame one another and was going round in circles. I decided to change to BT infinity so now if I have problems not phoning around different companys to try and solve it.Fingers crossed so far so good.
