Pop Ups

My server is firefox, every time I turn a page an advert appears is there some way I can stop this, please make it easy for me to understand as I'm a complete novice.

windows has a built in pop up blocker,is this enabled?
try ........control panel/internet options/privacy.........tick turn on pop up blocker
make sure when on your control panel your icons are large and not category
or internet options will not be visable
you cant stop all adverts even with a paid software
download adaware as well its free and guards your pc from dangerous adaware/malware/ransomeware...even this cant stop it all

Firefox has a very good, user friendly pop-up blocker. There's also a free add-on you can download called Adblock Plus, which you can use to get rid of adverts
