Just a short while ago,my screen went blank,then rebooted. Is there a reason this might happen?

Pasta you are lucky it rebooted! Mine (bought for christmas) went blank and died a death - its now back at the manufacturers and I'm waiting on the diagnosis!

Sometimes apps crash my ipad but it does yet really re-boot.
